MAW Rides, the official distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, has unveiled the Aerox 155 S, new Fascino Hybrid variants, updated R15 models, and the XSR 155 at the NADA Auto Show 2026 in Kathmandu.
Aerox 155 S: keyless sporty scooter
The Yamaha Aerox 155 S comes with a 155 cc engine and keyless start system, allowing riders to start the scooter without using a physical key. Positioned as a sporty maxi-scooter, it targets riders who want performance along with everyday practicality.
Fascino S Hybrid and Fascino Disc Hybrid
For city riders, Yamaha has introduced the Fascino S Hybrid and Fascino Disc Hybrid. These scooters focus on fuel-saving hybrid assistance and an eye-catching design, aimed at commuters who value both economy and style.
Updated R15 S and R15 M
Performance enthusiasts get revised versions of the R15 S and R15 M, developed around the “New R Instinct” concept. Yamaha has refined these bikes to offer a more sporty and performance-oriented feel for track-inspired riders.
R15S now on sale in Nepal
The Yamaha R15S is now available in Nepal, priced at Rs 569,900. It is positioned as the most affordable option in the R15 lineup, being Rs 70,000 cheaper than the R15 V4, which is priced at Rs 639,900, and the R15 M BS6 at Rs 654,900.
The R15S is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, four-valve engine producing 18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm of torque. It features a six-speed transmission, Deltabox frame, and dual-channel ABS. Additional features include a digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, E20 fuel compatibility, and a side-stand engine cut-off switch. It also has a single-piece seat, aimed at buyers looking for a sporty motorcycle at a lower price.
Yamaha XSR 155: Neo-retro appeal
The Yamaha XSR 155 is one of the most anticipated new motorcycles at the show. This neo-retro motorcycle combines a classic design with Yamaha's 155cc performance platform. It features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round LED headlamp, and flat bench-style seat. The model shares its 155cc platform with Yamaha's R15 and MT-15. Sales of the XSR 155 have started in Nepal, available in limited quantities through bookings. The XSR155 is priced at NRs. 539,900 for Vivid Red, NRs. 544,900 for Metallic Grey, and NRs. 559,900 for Metallic Black.
Special Booking Offers
Yamaha is offering special gifts to customers who book its motorcycles during the NADA Auto Show. Customers booking models from the MT and R15 series will receive riding gear, while buyers booking other Yamaha models will get a full Bluetooth smart helmet. The XSR 155 does not have a separate booking offer due to its high demand and limited supply.
Visitors can see all these models at Yamaha’s Blue Chamber stall throughout the NADA Auto Show 2026, which ran from August 25 to August 30, 2026, at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. However, Nepal pricing and exact sales start dates for other models have not been announced yet.
Our own record on this
Each is a dated change we applied to a published ex-showroom price after checking it. A logged change may be a distributor's revision or our own correction coming into line with the official figure — the log says which way each one moved, and when, not why.
