KATHMANDU: The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 at Bhrikutimandap has put a spotlight on how far motorcycle pricing now stretches in Nepal. Among the 55-plus brands and wide range of cars and two-wheelers on display, two premium bikes cost more than many family cars on the floor.
Morbidelli T1002VX: flagship adventure tourer
Morbidelli's range-topping T1002VX is listed in Nepal at Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). That makes it one of the most expensive motorcycles officially available in the country.
In Morbidelli's local lineup, the T1002VX sits well above the brand's existing models:
- T502X at Rs 13.50 lakh
- F352 at Rs 9.97 lakh
- T352X at Rs 9.97 lakh
- C252V at Rs 9.70 lakh
- T250X between Rs 5.75 lakh–Rs 6.19 lakh
The T1002VX costs more than three times the T502X, and roughly four to five times Morbidelli's 250–350 cc models. It's a halo product for the brand, plain and simple.
Morbidelli T1002VX key specs: 997 cc V-twin petrol engine, 88.5 hp, 89 Nm, adventure-tourer chassis, multiple riding modes, traction control, cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle and adjustable suspension aimed at long-distance touring.
The bike's size, premium hardware and feature-heavy electronics make it a lifestyle buy. This is for riders chasing a long-haul adventure machine, not a daily commuter.
ZXMOTO 820RR: track-focused supersport
Sharing the spotlight is the ZXMOTO 820RR, a full-fledged supersport motorcycle also on display at the expo. Its official list price is Rs 44 lakh. Under the NAIMA Expo promotional offer, buyers get a Rs 6 lakh discount, bringing the effective event price down to Rs 38 lakh.
ZXMOTO 820RR key specs: 818.8 cc inline-three petrol engine, up to 135 hp and 80 Nm, claimed top speed 299 km/h, and 0–100 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. Kerb weight is around 168 kg, which gives it a strong power-to-weight ratio.
The 820RR pairs those numbers with racing-derived tech: rider electronics, adjustable suspension and a quickshifter. It's built for performance enthusiasts and track-focused riders.
Morbidelli T250X: budget-friendly adventure
Morbidelli Nepal officially unveiled and launched the all-new T250X adventure motorcycle at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which concluded on August 16. The T250X is positioned as an entry-level, budget-friendly adventure machine priced at Rs. 6.19 Lakh. It features a 249.4cc single-cylinder, air-cooled EFI engine that delivers 22.4 hp and 22.3 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle is equipped with 41mm USD front forks (177mm travel), dual-channel ABS, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels with dual-purpose tires, and a full-LED lighting setup.
Morbidelli Nepal showcased its motorcycle portfolio at the expo, inviting visitors to view the new model and continuing customer engagement at its flagship showroom in Naxal.
Current prices on Nepal AutoMart
ZXMoto offers a range of performance motorcycles in Nepal, with prices ranging from Rs 15.50 Lakh for the ZXMoto 500F to Rs 44.00 Lakh for the ZXMoto 820RR. Bikers Nepal is the authorized distributor of ZXMoto in Nepal, operating its showroom in Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
More expensive than many cars
Most Nepali buyers are used to two-wheelers priced below Rs 10 lakh. Seeing bikes at Rs 38–45 lakh parked next to mid-range hatchbacks and compact SUVs is a striking change. These motorcycles target a niche group of customers who want performance, exclusivity and cutting-edge riding technology. Budget-friendly transport isn't the point here.
Both the Morbidelli T1002VX and ZXMOTO 820RR are physically present at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. Visitors can see for themselves how far Nepal's premium motorcycle segment has moved upmarket.
