Italian motorcycle maker Morbidelli has officially launched the new T250X adventure bike in Nepal at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which runs from August 11. The bike is priced at Rs 619,000, making it the most affordable Morbidelli motorcycle currently available in Nepal. Vaidya's Organization, Morbidelli’s official distributor for Nepal, is responsible for bringing this entry-level adventure model to the market.
Positioning in Morbidelli lineup
The T250X is designed as the brand’s most affordable adventure motorcycle for Nepal. It sits below the existing T352X, T502X, and T1002VX Super Adventure in the lineup. This model targets riders transitioning from commuter bikes or smaller-capacity tourers to an ADV-style motorcycle. The range also includes the C252V cruiser and the F352 streetfighter, expanding Morbidelli's offerings in Nepal.
Engine and performance
The Morbidelli T250X is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC four-stroke engine paired with a carburetor. It produces 22.4 hp at 7,500 rpm and 22.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and has a claimed top speed of around 115 km/h. The engine tune focuses on strong low- and mid-range torque, making it suitable for city traffic, hill roads, and mild off-road use.
Chassis, suspension and off-road hardware
The T250X is built on a double-cradle frame with rally-style bodywork and a high front mudguard. It features 41 mm upside-down front forks with 177 mm suspension travel and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The bike is equipped with wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres for mixed tarmac and trail use, along with 265 mm front and 220 mm rear ventilated disc brakes with dual-channel ABS offered as standard.
For Nepal’s varied roads, the bike offers:
- Kerb weight: 154 kg
- Ground clearance: 220 mm
- Seat height: 820 mm
- Fuel tank: 11.7 litres
This combination should suit riders who need a motorcycle that can handle rough rural sections while remaining manageable in urban environments.
Features and equipment

Unlike Morbidelli’s larger adventure models that focus on premium electronics, the T250X emphasises practicality. It includes a vertical LCD instrument display, full LED lighting with dual projector headlamps, and an automatic headlight on/off system. Additional features are hazard light function, electric start, and a USB charging port for phones and navigation devices. The bike also includes backlit switchgear, handguards, and a windscreen for added comfort on longer rides.
Expected price and availability
The Morbidelli T250X is now available in Nepal at a price of Rs 619,000. This makes it a new budget-friendly 250cc ADV option in a competitive segment, appealing to Nepali buyers considering an adventure-style motorcycle for commuting, weekend rides, and light touring. The T250X joins the lineup alongside other models like the C252V and F352, offering diverse options for different riding preferences.
