Hero's new adventure motorcycle, the Hero XPulse 210, is now open for bookings in Nepal. It gives riders a more powerful, premium option above the brand's existing XPulse trail bikes.

Where it fits in Hero's Nepal lineup

The XPulse 210 sits at the top of Hero's off-road family in Nepal. The XPulse 200 4V is priced at Rs 5,07,000, while the road-biased XPulse 200T sits lower at Rs 1,00,000. It's also positioned above the sporty Xtreme 160R / Xtreme 160R 4V at Rs 6,00,000, and well above the Xoom 125R FI scooter, whose current Nepal price isn't stated in available sources. That makes the XPulse 210 Hero's flagship petrol motorcycle for buyers wanting serious adventure capability.

Variants and verified Nepal prices

Our catalog confirms three XPulse 210 variants for Nepal:

  • XPulse 210 Top
  • XPulse 210 Base
  • XPulse 210 Pro

The distributor hasn't announced a price for any of these variants yet. Exact figures for the Top, Base, and Pro models remain unconfirmed.

Engine and performance upgrades

At the heart of the bike is a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve DOHC petrol engine with fuel injection. The motor produces around 24.6PS of peak power and 20.7Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch. This is a notable step up from the older 200cc XPulse. Hero has aimed it at smoother highway cruising, stronger top-end performance and more relaxed engine speeds at higher velocities.

The engine is related to the unit used in the Karizma XMR 210, but retuned for dual-sport use. Different mapping and cam timing balance low-end traction with mid-range punch for trails and broken roads.

Chassis, suspension and brakes

The XPulse 210 uses a semi-double cradle steel frame, strengthened over the previous XPulse platform to cope with higher speeds and rougher terrain. Suspension comes from long-travel telescopic front forks with gaiters and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear with multiple preload settings. Wheel travel is generous for off-road riding.

Braking hardware includes disc brakes at both ends. The Top and Pro variants get dual-channel ABS. The Base variant takes a simpler approach with single-channel ABS, keeping costs and weight slightly lower.

Design, ergonomics and off-road kit

Visually, the XPulse 210 sticks to the familiar adventure silhouette but with sharper, more muscular lines. Key elements include:

  • Tri-tone body finishes with colours such as Azure Blue and Alpine Silver for a rally-inspired look
  • Round Class-D LED headlamp with H-shaped DRLs
  • A tall windscreen for better wind protection
  • Reinforced handguards and a protruding pull bar around the headlamp for protection and recovery use
  • High front fender, 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels on dual-purpose Eurogrip tubed tyres
  • Long one-piece seat shaped to mimic a split design for comfort and sporty posture
  • Open-tooth footpegs with removable rubbers, positioned for easy standing while off-roading
  • Upswept exhaust and exposed subframe for a rugged rally look
  • A compact tail with split LED tail-lamp and indicators plus a sturdy rear rack for luggage

These touches blend everyday usability with genuine trail capability. The rally-bike look comes through clearly.

Instrument cluster and connectivity

Depending on variant, the XPulse 210 offers either a 4.2-inch LCD or a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT display. Both show speedometer, tachometer, gear position, fuel level, engine temperature, trip meters and clock.

The TFT unit adds Bluetooth connectivity, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and ride-data logging. Riders who tour and document their trips will find this useful.

Positioning against KTM's 250 Adventure

For buyers cross-shopping with international adventure brands, the XPulse 210 is expected to sit below KTM's entry ADV in Nepal. The KTM 250 Adventure is listed at Rs 6,00,000 in the available source. Prices for the 250 Duke and 200 Duke aren't stated in the sources provided, so a direct numeric comparison to those models isn't possible right now.

Even without confirmed XPulse 210 figures, the known KTM pricing suggests Hero will target a more affordable ADV slot. This is for riders who want a purpose-built adventure motorcycle but aren't willing to stretch to KTM money.

What this means for Nepali buyers

Bookings are open. Three variants await official prices. The Hero XPulse 210 gives Nepali riders a new step-up option from the XPulse 200 series, combining a larger liquid-cooled engine, 6-speed transmission, stronger chassis, long-travel suspension and TFT-plus-Bluetooth features. Once prices are confirmed, it could turn out to be one of the more accessible capable adventure motorcycles on offer in Nepal.
