China sales streak
In August 2026, Nevo Q05 was again China’s best-selling compact SUV, with 17,349 units retailed. That kept it at the top of its segment for five consecutive months from April to August. Over those five months, Q05 retail sales added up to 86,896 units.
April sales were 15,814 units, rising to 15,954 units in May. June climbed further to 18,908 units, followed by 18,871 units in July. In August, the 17,349-unit result still put Q05 well ahead of rivals like Toyota Corolla Cross, Geely Boyue L/Starry, Toyota RAV4, BYD Sealion 5/Song Pro New Energy and Geely Xingyue L/Monjaro. Q05 finished August about 2,674 units clear of its nearest competitor.

Nepal launch and buyer interest
Nevo Q05 was showcased in Nepal only a few weeks ago. The electric SUV drew strong attention and high booking numbers at the NADA Auto Show. Deliveries to Nepali customers are set to start within days. MAW Vriddhi Motocorp, the official distributor of Changan in Nepal, has completed preparations to hand over the first units to customers.
The company has priced the Max variant at Rs 4,899,000 and the Ultra variant at Rs 5,199,000. At the NADA Auto Show, both variants were offered with an equal discount of Rs 200,000.
Space, comfort and tech
Nevo Q05 is sized for families, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase giving a roomy cabin. It has reclining rear seats, practical luggage space, nine-stage seat adjustment and multiple storage areas. The SUV measures 4,435mm in length, 1,855mm in width, and 1,600mm in height.

Battery cells come from CATL, and the Q05 supports 3C fast charging. Under suitable conditions, the battery can charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 15 minutes. The SUV is fitted with a 51.9 kWh Golden Shield 2.0 LFP battery pack, which the company claims delivers a range of 462 km on the NEDC cycle on a single full charge. It supports DC fast charging of up to 162 kW.
Powering the vehicle is a 120 kW electric motor producing 163 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds.
The design is modern and aerodynamic, and the interior aims for a premium feel. Smart features and the tech-heavy cabin are aimed at younger, tech-focused buyers.
With its China sales run and the first deliveries now lining up here, Nevo Q05 looks set to become one of the more important new electric SUVs in Nepal’s compact segment.
