Variants and pricing in Chitwan
The Nevo Q05 is offered in two trims for this market:
- Nevo Q05 Max: Rs 48.99 lakh ex-showroom
- Nevo Q05 Ultra: Rs 51.99 lakh ex-showroom

Both versions share the same battery and drivetrain and use a front-wheel-drive layout. The Ultra sits above the Max by adding more comfort and convenience features.
Battery, charging and range

The Nevo Q05 for Nepal uses a 51.9 kWh LFP battery from CATL. It supports 3C fast charging with DC charging rated up to 162 kW. Under suitable conditions, the company claims a 30–80% charge in about 15 minutes.
Changan quotes a WLTC range of 405 km and an energy use figure of 12.9 kWh per 100 km.
The battery pack uses Changan's Golden Shield Battery 2.0 safety package, which combines CATL cells with the brand's own protection systems.
Performance
A 120 kW front-mounted electric motor drives the front wheels. Changan lists a 0–100 km/h time of 8.1 seconds.
This set of numbers places the Nevo Q05 as a compact family EV with a focus on usable performance rather than outright speed.
Features and demand
The Nevo Q05 includes a 540-litre dual-level boot, with 90 litres of concealed storage and up to 29 additional storage areas throughout the cabin. It offers a panoramic glass roof option and a 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher variants include up to 18 driver-assistance functions and a 540-degree panoramic viewing system.
The Nevo Q05 has seen strong demand in China, with cumulative sales exceeding 125,000 units by the end of August 2026. It has ranked first in China's compact SUV segment for four consecutive months, underscoring its popularity and market performance.
Launch event
The Nevo Q05 was officially unveiled at a launch event in Chitwan. The event was attended by prominent figures, including FNCCI Chitwan President Chirinjibi Subedi, CADA President Indra Regmi, Rajhans Automobile Chairman Dilip Thanet, MAW Vriddhi Director Parth Sikaria, Vice President Sandeep Chatterjee, and CEO Gyanendra Bdr. Chand.
Our take

For Chitwan buyers looking at their first electric SUV, the Nevo Q05 Max at Rs 48.99 lakh and Ultra at Rs 51.99 lakh are competitive new options with fast DC charging and a claimed 405 km WLTC range, which makes the package look strong on paper for intercity as well as daily use.
