Pokhara event and test drive
The Q05 has been presented at the Deepal Pokhara showroom in Chauta. A special test drive program from Asoj 3 to September 22 lets interested buyers drive the SUV and experience its features in real traffic. Test drives run directly from the Pokhara showroom.
Price and variants
For Pokhara, the Nevo Q05 Ultra carries a special ex-showroom price of Rs 51.99 lakh. The Ultra sits above the Max variant and focuses on more comfort and convenience kit.

Space and comfort
The Nevo Q05 is a compact EV SUV, but its long 2,735 mm wheelbase gives a more spacious cabin than most cars this size. The cabin utilizes 86.6% of its space, allowing three adults to sit on the rear seat, which reclines in two angles, 28° and 33°. The seat uses a nine-layer ergonomic structure aimed at better long-distance comfort. Soft-touch materials are used in frequently touched areas of the cabin.

The boot is a dual-level 540-litre unit with an extra 90 litres of hidden storage, useful for luggage and daily bags. Across the cabin there are 29 small storage spaces. Sound insulation has been given special attention, with over 67 points of sound and vibration reduction to keep the cabin quiet. The Ultra variant in focus for Pokhara also gets a 1.8 m² panoramic glass roof with power sunshade.
Design and aerodynamics
The Q05 has been developed under Changan’s global design team headed by Klaus Zyciora, former design chief at Volkswagen Group. More than 915 designers from 31 countries worked on the project.
The SUV follows the brand’s "Fuguang" design philosophy, giving it balanced proportions and a confident stance. An aerodynamic body helps achieve a drag coefficient of 0.265 Cd. The lighting package includes a Digital Wing 2.0 full-width front light signature, star-ring matrix LED tail-lamps, and semi-hidden door handles. The Nevo Q05 has also been recognised with the Golden A’ Design Award 2026.
Battery, range and charging
The Deepal Nevo Q05 uses Changan’s Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology with integrated LFP CATL battery cells. Fast charging is a key selling point: the 3C fast-charge system can take the battery from 30% to 80% in about 15 minutes in suitable conditions.
A 120 kW electric motor drives the front wheels and can take the Q05 from 0–100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. Under WLTP testing, the claimed range is 405 km, with energy use listed at 12.9 kWh per 100 km.
Advanced features and technology
The Q05 also features a 540-degree camera and offers up to 18 driver assistance features, depending on the variant. The interior is equipped with a 14.6-inch touchscreen, powered by an automotive-grade MTK8675 processor. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing the tech-rich experience.

Verdict
For Pokhara buyers looking at a compact family EV, the Nevo Q05 Ultra at Rs 51.99 lakh with a 405 km claimed range and fast charging looks like a strong new option in the city’s growing electric SUV market.
