Chinese manufacturer ZXMoto has displayed a physical prototype of a new boxer-twin engine with a displacement of approximately 1,000cc. The company showcased the unit at the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMA) in Chongqing this past September.
This engine features liquid cooling and a longitudinal crankshaft. It also utilizes chain-driven camshafts and is designed for a shaft final-drive system. The engine is expected to produce more than 100 horsepower. ZXMoto is also working on an automated manual transmission for this platform. While the company has not confirmed a specific motorcycle model, the architecture suggests it is intended for a large adventure or touring bike.

In Nepal, the prices for the ZXMoto 500F and 500RR have not been announced. The brand also sells the 820RR, but its Nepal price has not been announced.

ZXMoto has not yet released final specifications, pricing, or production timelines for this new engine. It remains in the development stage.
