Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the **authorized distributor of Yadea in Nepal, has officially launched three new electric scooters on August 6, 2026 in Kathmandu. The lineup includes the Yadea GS70, GT70, and GT80**, all designed for urban commuters and long-distance riders, offering a blend of modern features and performance.

What is being launched in Nepal?

  • Launch date (Nepal): August 6, 2026
  • Models: Yadea GS70, Yadea GT70, Yadea GT80
  • Distributor: Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd.

This launch marks the official entry of these scooters into the Nepali market, expanding the choices for electric two-wheelers.

Focus on modern commuting

According to the company’s announcement, all three scooters are built for today’s city riders who want lower running costs and simpler maintenance compared to petrol scooters. The new models offer long riding range, intelligent safety features, smart connectivity, and a contemporary design.

The Yadea GS70 is priced at Rs 2.30 lakh and is designed for everyday urban mobility. It features a 2.1 kWh LFP battery paired with a 2.8 kW peak motor, offering a claimed riding range of up to 105 km on a single charge.

The Yadea GT70, priced at Rs 3.65 lakh, is positioned as a long-range electric scooter. It features a 5.7 kWh dual LFP battery system, combining a 3.6 kWh fixed battery with a 2.1 kWh removable battery. It is powered by a 3.7 kW peak motor and offers a claimed riding range of up to 220 km on a single charge.

The Yadea GT80 is priced at Rs 3.35 lakh, catering to premium scooter buyers with advanced features and performance. It includes a 3.6 kWh lithium battery and a 5 kW peak motor, providing a top speed of 80 km/h and a range of 150 km.

Tech, safety and connectivity

Kuzu Nepal says the scooters will come with advanced electronic safety systems and smart connectivity features. This includes functions such as traction control system, cruise control, hill hold and descent control, and dual disc braking system. Additionally, the scooters feature Bluetooth connectivity, TFT smart display, mobile navigation mirroring, and the Yadea Smart App.

Pricing and availability in Nepal

The distributor has now shared Nepal pricing for each model, and has announced a special launch discount of Rs 10,000 on all models until the Naima Auto Show concludes. Buyers interested in switching from petrol scooters to electric are advised to consider these confirmed figures.

What this means for Nepali buyers

Yadea already sells electric scooters in multiple markets, and the arrival of the GS70, GT70, and GT80 in Nepal signals a broader choice in the mid-range and premium EV scooter segment. For riders, the key appeal will likely be:

  • Lower running and maintenance costs compared with petrol scooters
  • The promise of better range and performance than early-generation e-scooters
  • A more feature-rich, tech-focused riding experience

The company also offers a 3-year or 50,000 km battery warranty, ensuring peace of mind for buyers. With these offerings, Yadea aims to start a new chapter of smart electric mobility in Nepal.
