Toyota’s official distributor in Nepal, United Traders Syndicate, is making waves at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 with the unveiling of two new models. The much-anticipated new-generation RAV4 Hybrid and ninth-generation Hilux are the highlights of the event. The RAV4 Hybrid is priced at Rs 2.13 Crore and features Toyota’s 2.5-litre self-charging hybrid system. It combines a 2.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor-generator system, delivering power to all four wheels through a CVT automatic transmission. The petrol engine produces 137 kW of maximum power and 221 Nm of peak torque. The hybrid system uses a 1.09 kWh lithium-ion battery with an overall voltage of 248.2 V, offering a fuel efficiency of around 15–20 km/l.
The RAV4 Hybrid measures 4,600 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and 1,685 mm in height, with a 2,690 mm wheelbase and 201 mm of ground clearance. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/60 R18 tyres and provides seating for five occupants. The SUV uses MacPherson struts at the front and a trailing-wishbone setup at the rear, with ventilated disc brakes at the front and solid disc brakes at the rear. It has a minimum turning radius of 6 metres and a 55-litre fuel tank.
The new Hilux, launched at a special NAIMA starting price of Rs 1.55 Crore, is powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and is available with both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. The lineup includes GX 4X2 AT, GX 4X4 AT, and VX 4X4 AT variants, offering flexibility between rear-wheel and four-wheel drive. The Hilux's exterior follows Toyota’s “Tough and Agile” design theme, featuring slimmer LED headlights connected by a central bar carrying the TOYOTA name, enhancing its substantial appearance.
In addition to the vehicle launches, Toyota Nepal is offering substantial discounts ranging from Rs 300,000 to Rs 2.1 million on bookings made during the expo. The exact model-wise discounts have not been disclosed yet, but customers can expect significant savings on selected Toyota vehicles.

The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 runs from August 11 to 16 in Kathmandu, providing a six-day window for customers to take advantage of these offers. Beyond financial incentives, Toyota Nepal has announced a special driving experience for its customers. One lucky buyer who books a vehicle at the event will have the chance to join the Elite Explore Kanyakumari Drive with a partner, selected through a lucky draw. Additionally, every booking will qualify for participation in the company’s community drive.
