Tata Motors has officially expanded its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program across its entire electric vehicle lineup. This initiative allows customers to purchase the vehicle and the battery as separate components, significantly reducing the initial showroom price.
Previously limited to entry-level models like the Tiago and Punch, the program now covers the Nexon EV, Curvv EV, Sierra EV, and Harrier EV. Under this structure, the battery cost is excluded from the upfront price, with financing options available for the battery based on usage or through simplified installments.

For vehicles without the battery, starting prices range from 4.69 lakh INR for the Tiago EV up to 14.49 lakh INR for the Harrier EV. Users will pay a battery usage fee ranging from 2.6 INR to 5.9 INR per kilometer. This program is restricted to personal vehicles and does not apply to commercial use.
Our own record on this
Tata Punch EV: 4 · Tata Curvv EV: 1. Each is a dated change we applied to a published ex-showroom price after checking it. A logged change may be a distributor's revision or our own correction coming into line with the official figure — the log says which way each one moved, and when, not why.
