Royal Enfield’s next big adventure bike, the Himalayan 750, has been spotted testing in near-production form near the company’s UK Technology Centre. The brand’s CEO has also officially confirmed a new 750cc platform will debut at EICMA 2026. That gives the Himalayan 750 a clear global launch path as a larger twin-cylinder sibling to the current Himalayan 450.

Where it would sit in Nepal lineup

In Nepal, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is already on sale at Rs 10.13 lakh – Rs 10.80 lakh across multiple variants. It is the brand’s current flagship ADV.

It sits above the Guerrilla 450 (Rs 8.99 lakh – Rs 9.99 lakh) and far above road-biased models like the Scram 440 (Rs 6.90 lakh – Rs 7 lakh), Scram 411 (Rs 6.67 lakh), Goan Classic 350 (Rs 5.98 lakh – Rs 6.02 lakh) and Meteor 350 (Rs 5.77 lakh – Rs 5.97 lakh).

Given that the Himalayan 750 uses a bigger twin-cylinder engine and more sophisticated hardware, Nepali buyers should expect it to sit above the Himalayan 450 in price whenever it is eventually imported. It is likely to become Royal Enfield’s most expensive adventure motorcycle here.

What the new Himalayan 750 is shaping up to be

Spy shots and early showings point to a few clear details.

  • 750cc parallel-twin engine, derived from Royal Enfield’s 650 twin but reworked for long-distance adventure touring.
  • More substantial bodywork with a larger fuel tank, taller windscreen and bigger fairing, aimed at comfort and range.
  • Design language close to the Himalayan 450, including a circular LED headlamp and upright ADV stance.
  • Road-biased ADV setup: cast alloy wheels, reportedly 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, with touring-oriented tyres.
  • Twin front disc brakes with ByBre calipers, Showa USD forks, rear monoshock with remote preload adjuster and a standard center stand.
  • Expected tech such as ride-by-wire, potential riding modes and cruise control, and a circular TFT console with smartphone connectivity and navigation.

Recent Developments

Recently, images emerged showing multiple Himalayan 750 test motorcycles at a vehicle recycling facility in the UK. This unusual sight initially raised questions, but it aligns with standard practices for pre-production vehicles. These motorcycles, described as pre-production or test motorcycles, were reportedly delivered from Bruntingthorpe, a significant site for Royal Enfield's UK operations. The disposal of these bikes suggests that they have completed their testing roles, a positive sign for the progression of the Himalayan 750's development.

What this could mean for Nepali riders

With India and Europe development clearly in the final stages and a global debut targeted at EICMA 2026, the Himalayan 750 is very likely to reach India first and then markets like Nepal that already sell the Himalayan 450 and 650 twins.

For Nepali riders, that means:

  • A step up from single-cylinder ADVs into a big-twin adventure tourer suitable for long highway trips and cross-border touring.
  • A probable price band above Rs 11–12 lakh once taxes and duties are applied, placing it in serious big-bike territory.
  • Stronger competition to existing mid-weight ADVs imported via India and China, especially for buyers who have outgrown the Himalayan 450 but want to stay within the Royal Enfield ecosystem.

There is no official Nepal launch confirmation yet. Royal Enfield’s active lineup here, and its habit of bringing new platforms to this market after India, make the Himalayan 750 a model Nepali adventure riders will want to keep an eye on.
