Hyundai has introduced Lounge Editions of the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric in India, adding a factory-fitted rear entertainment screen and cosmetic upgrades aimed at buyers who spend more time in the back seat.
What India's Lounge Editions add
The new Lounge Editions focus on rear comfort and show where future Creta and Creta Electric specs could go:
- All three SUVs get an 11.6-inch rear seat entertainment screen. It supports OTT streaming, video, interactive games, phone mirroring and apps via a certified app store.
- The system is paired with a Bose 8-speaker audio setup with a front centre speaker and subwoofer, aimed at a more immersive cabin.
- Cabins receive Lounge-specific interiors: silver inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting, new seat patterns and headrest cushions with Lounge branding.
- Outside, Hyundai adds a new Golden Bronze colour with blackened elements such as skid plates, side sill garnish, spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish, ORVMs and larger matte-black alloy wheels.
Creta Lounge Edition (India)

- Based on the King trims.
- Two powertrains: 1.5-litre MPi petrol with IVT and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel with automatic.

Alcazar Lounge Edition (India)
- Shifts to an exclusive 5-seat layout, instead of the usual three-row arrangement.

Where this sits against Hyundai's Nepal line-up

Those are Indian ex-showroom prices, and they do not carry across to Nepal. Nepal's duty and tax structure puts the same car in a completely different bracket, so the India figures above are useful for reading the *spec*, not the price.
In Nepal, Hyundai is distributed by Laxmi Intercontinental, whose price list of 11 August 2026 puts the Hyundai Creta petrol range at Rs 55,56,000 to Rs 80,56,000 ex-showroom.
The locally assembled ladder on the distributor's own price list:
- 1.5 E MT (Made in Nepal) — Rs 55,56,000
- 1.5 E Loaded (Made in Nepal) — Rs 55,96,000
- 1.5 S(O) MT (Made in Nepal) — Rs 65,56,000
- 1.5 SX MT (Made in Nepal) — Rs 68,56,000
- 1.5 S(O) IVT (Made in Nepal) — Rs 69,56,000
- 1.5 SX(O) IVT (Made in Nepal) — Rs 80,56,000
The Creta Electric is already on sale here as well, listed from Rs 51,96,000 for the Executive to Rs 69,96,000 for the Smart (O) Long Range.
So the India Creta Lounge starts at roughly a third of what the entry Creta costs in Nepal — the gap is tax, not trim.
Nepal angle: what could reach our market?
There is no official confirmation yet that Laxmi Intercontinental will bring these Lounge Editions, or a 5-seat Alcazar. The Alcazar is not part of the Nepal line-up at all today, and Hyundai Nepal's Creta effort is centred on local assembly rather than fully imported special editions.
For Nepali buyers, the takeaway is about equipment rather than price: the rear entertainment screen and blacked-out styling are the features most likely to filter into a future high-spec Creta here. If a Lounge-style trim does arrive, expect it at the top of the existing Nepal Creta band, near Rs 80,56,000 — not anywhere near India's figures.

Until the distributor announces an imported Lounge Edition or a comparable local assembly spec, Nepal pricing and launch timing remain unconfirmed.
