Tata Motors’ Tiago EV is now being promoted in Nepal through a special ‘Joyful Week’ campaign, targeting buyers eager to transition from petrol to electric hatchbacks.
Joyful Week offer details
Under this scheme, customers can acquire a new Tiago EV with a down payment of just Rs 4.30 lakh, significantly lower than the usual requirement of 40% of the vehicle price, as per Nepal Rastra Bank's rules. The Tiago EV starts at Rs 27,49,000.
The campaign runs from September 19 to September 26, aligning with the festive week.
The focus is on exchange and upgrade. Buyers trading in their old vehicles are promised a best-ever exchange valuation, allowing more of the old car’s value to contribute to the new EV purchase.
Extra benefits for Tiago EV buyers
Customers booking the Tiago EV during Joyful Week receive:
- Assured gifts with every booking
- Free accessories on the car
- Free one-year vehicle tax
- Free home charger installation for convenient overnight charging
These add-ons are designed to offset the typical additional costs following the car’s ex-showroom price.
Facelifted Tiago EV features
The facelifted Tiago EV, introduced at the NADA Auto Show, showcases sleek LED headlamps, new LED DRLs, and a redesigned front fascia with a closed, body-colored grille. It rides on new 15-inch wheels with contrasting wheel arch cladding. At the rear, it features connected LED tail lamps, a revised bumper, a dual-tone black roof, a shark-fin antenna, and chrome finishing on the door handles.
Under the hood, the Tiago EV is powered by a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a 55 kW electric motor producing 114 Nm of torque.

Inside, the cabin is equipped with an updated digital cockpit, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a multi-function steering wheel.
Safety features
On the safety front, the Tiago EV includes dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, and electronic stability control.
Targeted at first-time EV switchers
The Tiago EV is already a prominent small electric car in Nepal, with a compact size and features tailored for urban use. For those hesitant about switching to electric, Joyful Week makes the transition easier and more affordable, particularly for those trading in an old vehicle.
Interested customers can visit authorized Tata showrooms across Nepal for test drives and to secure the offer before September 26.
Verdict: For hatchback buyers ready to shift to an EV, this limited-time Tiago EV scheme is one of the stronger exchange and ownership packages on the market right now.
