Tata commercial vehicle owners in Kathmandu now have more flexible service hours. Jalpadevi Autoworks, an authorised Tata Motors service centre for commercial vehicles, will operate from 9 am to 9 pm.
Previously, the workshop closed at 6 pm. The longer day means trucks, buses and other commercial vehicles running throughout the day can be sent for repair and routine service in the evening without disrupting regular trips.
Sipradi says the extended hours are planned to match customers’ operating schedules and reduce workshop waiting time. The company warns that illegal or fake parts and lubricants can damage the engine, brake and clutch systems quickly and push repair bills up, so it is steering owners towards authorised facilities.
At Jalpadevi Autoworks, Tata commercial vehicles get advanced diagnostic equipment, Tata genuine spare parts, trained technicians and work done to defined safety standards. The aim is clear: cut vehicle downtime and help operators achieve higher earnings with lower running costs.
For busy passenger and freight operators in and around Kathmandu, this later closing time should make keeping fleets in shape a little easier.
