River Mobility has officially entered the Nepali market with the launch of its flagship electric scooter, the River Indie. Distributed by Vishal Group, the scooter is now available for purchase at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3,70,000.

This new arrival enters a competitive segment, positioning itself above established commuter models. For comparison, the Yadea E8S Pro is priced at Rs 2,30,000, while the Nepal price for the Yadea GS 70 has not been announced.
Performance and Specifications
The River Indie is powered by a 6.7 kW mid-drive motor paired with a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery. It offers a claimed IDC range of up to 160 km on a single charge and reaches a top speed of 90 km/h. The scooter is designed for varied terrain, featuring 177 mm of ground clearance and the ability to climb slopes of up to 18 degrees.

Marketed as the 'SUV of scooters,' the vehicle emphasizes utility and design. Key features include:

Availability and Support
The company has opened its first international retail and service outlet in Naxal, Kathmandu, located next to the MG Motors showroom. After-sales support is managed through a dedicated service centre at the VG Suzuki Service Center in Bhimsenthan, Kathmandu. The manufacturer offers a warranty of up to eight years on the scooter.
Following its introduction at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, the brand has commenced retail operations and deliveries. Buyers can visit the new Naxal showroom for test rides and bookings.
