Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler Pickup Unveiled Globally, Nepal Launch Anticipated

Mahindra has globally unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler, a lifestyle pickup built on the Scorpio-N platform, marking its entry into a segment that Mahindra is keen to revive. The truck is set to launch in India by April 2027, with a starting price of below Rs 19.79 lakh. This new model will serve as a direct successor to the Mahindra Scorpio Getaway.
The closest Mahindra model on sale in Nepal right now is the Scorpio N, priced between Rs 82.50 lakh and Rs 129 lakh across four variants. That's a significant gap from the Lifestyler's expected India pricing. Nepal pricing has not been confirmed yet.

The Scorpio Lifestyler features a double-cab body with a large cargo bed, and is available in three versions: Reef, Trail, and Valley, each catering to different audiences such as lifestyle enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and practical users. Styling leans rugged with a bold grille, LED headlamps, C-shaped LED tail lamps, body cladding, side steps, roof rails, and dual-tone alloy wheels. The interior boasts a large portrait-style touchscreen paired with a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and selectable terrain modes.
Mahindra is positioning the pickup against the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross and Toyota Hilux in India. The vehicle will be manufactured at Mahindra’s facilities in India and is expected to be sold in select global markets.
Design-wise, the Scorpio Lifestyler maintains a close resemblance to its concept version, featuring a dominating front fascia with a large grille and Mahindra's Twin Peaks logo. It includes vertically arranged fog lights, a chunky skid plate, muscular wheel arch claddings, and large alloy wheels with on/off-road tires. The rear features a large MAHINDRA lettering embossed into the tailgate, and practical corner steps might be offered for easier access to the load bed.
Inside, Mahindra could offer the Scorpio Lifestyler in either a single-cab or dual-cab layout. The dual-cab version might offer premium features like a new steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, ventilated seats, surround cameras, sophisticated ADAS, driver monitoring, and push-button start on the center console.
Powering the new Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler will be familiar engine options, potentially varying by market. Likely candidates include a 2.0L Turbo Petrol engine with up to 200 bhp and a 2.2L Turbo Diesel engine with up to 450 Nm, both available with manual and automatic gearbox options, along with Mahindra’s sophisticated 4XPLOR 4WD system.
