The Jetour T2 has finally reached Kathmandu, and it's now joined by the Jetour T1 as both models open for pre-booking. Laxmi MotorHub, a division of the Laxmi Group, successfully imported these SUVs after navigating several logistical challenges.
Initial plans to display the T2 at the NAIMA Mobility Expo were cancelled due to customs clearance delays. A subsequent attempt to showcase the model at the NADA Auto Show was also abandoned after the Bhotekoshi flood damaged vehicles stored at the customs yard. The distributor eventually restarted the import process and brought the unit into the country through the Korala border.
Jetour Nepal has now formally opened its showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu, where customers can pre-book the T1 and T2 models. A showroom pooja was held on October 12 to mark the opening. The Jetour T1 PHEV is priced at NPR 1,42,96,000, while the T2 PHEV and ICE variants are priced at NPR 1,55,96,000. The T2 ICE variant offers an all-wheel drive (AWD) system, providing customers with options to suit their driving needs.
