Hyundai Motor India has unveiled the India-spec Bayon ahead of its scheduled market launch on October 26. This compact SUV introduces a generative AI voice assistant developed with Perplexity and SoundHound AI, allowing for conversational commands.
The vehicle features a Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) powered by NVIDIA, displayed across dual 12-inch curved panoramic screens. It includes 19 onboard controllers that support over-the-air software updates. The system recognizes more than 500 embedded voice commands, even without an internet connection, and supports 10 regional languages alongside two international languages.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder MPi petrol engine. This unit produces 114 BHP and 144 Nm of torque. Buyers can select between a six-speed manual transmission or an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) automatic.

Bookings for the SUV are now open in India. Pricing and specific variant details remain unannounced. This model is currently intended for the Indian market, and no information regarding a potential release in Nepal has been provided.
