Sipradi Trading has started sales of the facelifted Tata Tiago EV in Nepal, following its unveiling at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. Alongside, the new Tata Punch EV has also been introduced. Both models are part of the Tata Carnival exchange camp, allowing customers to exchange their old vehicles for these new EVs, using the old car as a down payment.

The updated Tiago EV is available in two variants: the LR XT at Rs 27.49 lakh and the LR XZ+ Tech Lux at Rs 29.99 lakh. However, another source reports a starting price of Rs 28.99 lakh, indicating potential market variations. Meanwhile, the Punch EV, initially launched at Rs 33.99 lakh, is now available at a discounted price of Rs 32.99 lakh during the NADA Auto Show 2026, thanks to a Rs 1 lakh expo discount.

The facelifted Tiago EV maintains its 24 kWh lithium-ion battery and 55 kW electric motor, delivering 114 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed 315 km range, though the new source suggests an MIDC-certified range of up to 285 km and a real-world range of 205–215 km. The Punch EV, based on the advanced ‘Acti.EV’ platform, offers two battery options of 30 kWh and 40 kWh, with a range of 300 to 325 km. It supports up to 65 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes.

Recently, Tata Sipradi introduced an updated version of the Punch EV fitted with a larger 40kWh battery pack, organizing a test drive from Bhaktapur to Dhulikhel that included a stop at Dirt Temple's off-road track. This new variant is expected to offer a range of 300+ km on a full charge, although official figures are yet to be confirmed. Notably, the new 40kWh Punch EV is expected to be priced lower than the outgoing model, making it an attractive option for buyers seeking SUV styling at hatchback-level pricing.
