Ather has expanded its footprint in Nepal by opening new experience centers in Dharan, Nepalgunj, and now Surkhet, bringing its total to 16 showrooms across the country. The Dharan outlet is located at Chata Chowk in Dharan-1, Koshi Province, while the Nepalgunj center is situated at Buspark Road, New Road 2. The newly inaugurated Surkhet center is located at Birendra–12, Airport Chowk. These centers aim to cater to buyers in eastern, western, and the Karnali region of Nepal, respectively, showcasing the 450 Series, the 450X overton series, and the family-focused Rizta. Vaidya's Energy, the authorized distributor of Ather electric scooters in Nepal, oversees this expansion.
The new outlets are part of Ather's strategy to strengthen its presence across Nepal and accelerate the adoption of electric two-wheelers. Ather has already established a presence in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, Janakpur, Birgunj, Birtamode, and Biratnagar, among other cities.

To mark the openings, the company has announced offers valid until September 19, 2026, including extended battery warranty, 0% interest financing with 50% down payment, and extra exchange valuation of up to Rs 8,000. Customers can choose one of these benefits, enhancing the purchasing experience. Test rides are available for customers at the new centers. The Surkhet center also offers an exclusive opening promotion valid until Ashoj 11, 2083.
Ather says its scooters come with a battery health guarantee of 70% for 8 years or 80,000 km. It also claims to have built more than 10 authorised service centers and more than 50 fast-charging stations across Nepal, with charging from 0 to 80% in about 45 minutes.
The Ather 450 series is aimed at customers looking for performance, smart technology, and an engaging riding experience. It comes with features such as strong acceleration, Google Maps-based navigation, Auto Hold, FallSafe, reverse mode, multiple riding modes, and a touchscreen dashboard. The newer 450 platform also introduces technologies like Magic Twist for throttle-based deceleration, Infinite Cruise for cruising, and voice interaction features. The Ather 450 is specifically engineered for superior performance and dynamic riding.
The Ather Rizta is designed for family and everyday use. It gets a wide seat, large storage capacity, and safety-focused features. The scooter also comes with traction control, tow and theft alerts, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard, and a comfort-focused design.

The company reports receiving more than 25 bookings from the Dharan area even before the Experience Center officially opened, indicating early interest in its scooters in eastern Nepal. The expansion into Nepalgunj and Surkhet further reflects Ather's commitment to enhancing its customer experience and supporting the growth of electric mobility in Nepal. The Nepalgunj and Surkhet Experience Centers ensure that customers in western and the Karnali region of Nepal now have direct access to test rides and charging facilities. Ather Nepal offers special financing deals, including an eight-year extended battery warranty for cash buyers, zero-interest EMI options, and an NPR 8,000 valuation benefit for exchange customers.
