Arcfox, the electric brand under BAIC Group, is gearing up to introduce the Alpha T7 electric SUV in China on September 16, 2026. While no distributor has confirmed Nepal plans yet, the model’s size, range, and growing Arcfox presence here mean it is one to watch for local EV buyers.

Arcfox Alpha T7: What’s coming globally

- The Alpha T7 is a large, five‑metre crossover‑style electric SUV aimed at the mainstream family segment. It measures 5,020 mm in length with a 3,040 mm wheelbase, offering 645 liters of boot space that expands significantly with the rear seats folded.
- Chinese pre‑sales data shows battery options with up to around 715 km CLTC range for the pure EV, with an extended‑range version advertised at up to about 1,315 km CLTC. The SUV utilizes an 800V platform and CATL battery cells.
- Pre‑orders in China reportedly start from 137,800 yuan, with higher variants going up to 174,800 yuan. Demand has been strong, with pre-sales surpassing 30,000 orders within 72 hours.
Arcfox has informed via Weibo that the first batch of Alpha T7 has reached dealers across China. The Alpha T7 will be available in nine variants, four range-extended and five battery electric versions. The entry-level 650 Plus version has a 75.4 kWh battery with a claimed CLTC range of 650 km. Other battery electric versions have an 84.8 kWh battery providing a CLTC range of 715 km. Range-extended versions use a 1.5-liter range extender engine, a 200 kW electric motor, and a 43.9 kWh battery. This combination allows for a total range of 1,315 km using both engine and battery.
The Alpha T7 features advanced technology, including Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro driver-assistance on select models, supported by 27 sensors, including a concealed LiDAR. The ADS 5 Pro driver assistance system is available in four variants with Qiankun name. The SUV also benefits from Magna chassis tuning and CDC continuously variable damping for enhanced driving dynamics.

If Arcfox’s Nepal partner decides to bring it, the Alpha T7 would sit above the compact T1 as a more spacious long‑range family EV.
