Yamaha Nepal has started Blue Fest at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, running from Ashoj 5 to Ashoj 10 as a six‑day exchange and finance fair ahead of Dashain. The event is organised by MAW Rides, Yamaha’s official distributor for Nepal.

Exchange and valuation

Visitors can bring their old motorcycles or scooters and switch to a new Yamaha. The organiser says more than 50 valuators are deployed to assess used two‑wheelers, with a focus on maximum valuation for old bikes and scooters. Customers who exchange into a new Yamaha can get cashback up to Rs 10 lakh.

On-the-spot finance and EMI

Blue Fest offers instant finance approval on the basis of citizenship, with a 1% service charge. Low EMI plans are available for up to 40 months, aimed at riders who want to upgrade without a large upfront payment.

Models, prices and experiences

A range of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters is on display for viewing and test rides. Event pricing starts at Rs 2.849 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.499 lakh, covering multiple commuter and sporty models.

Under Yamaha’s ongoing “Changa Chet” Dashain campaign, Blue Fest visitors can take test rides, join door prize and lucky draw activities, and win hi‑tech gadgets and other gifts. There are also free accessories, stunt shows and meet‑and‑greet sessions with riders, creators and celebrities.

MAW Rides’ executive director and CEO Deepak Agrawal describes Blue Fest as a platform to make exchange, top‑up and finance easier for customers. During the same fest, Yamaha plans to reveal the blue colour version of the FZ‑X at a special programme at 5 pm on Ashoj 7.

Yamaha brand ambassador actor Anoop Bikram Shahi and official racer Shrihari Paudel have both linked the event to long‑term trust in the brand, pitching Blue Fest as a good window for Nepali riders to upgrade to a new Yamaha with festive benefits.
