A camouflaged test mule of the upcoming JSW Combat SUV has been photographed alongside a Mahindra Thar Roxx in India. The images provide a visual look at how the two vehicles compare in size and design.
Both SUVs feature boxy silhouettes, upright windscreens, and tailgate-mounted spare wheels. However, the JSW Combat appears larger, with dimensions based on the overseas Jetour T2 platform. It measures 4,785 mm in length, 2,006 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height. In contrast, the Thar Roxx has a longer 2,850 mm wheelbase compared to the 2,800 mm found on the Jetour T2.
Technical details for the JSW Combat remain unconfirmed for the Indian market, though it is expected to use a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The test vehicle also displayed a warning label regarding automatic braking, suggesting the inclusion of advanced driver assistance systems.
Production is slated for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, with a potential price point around Rs 30 lakh in the Indian market. While the Thar Roxx is a familiar name in the region, JSW Motors has not announced any plans for the Combat SUV in Nepal. Nepali buyers should note that this model is currently focused on the Indian market, and its availability in Nepal remains uncertain.
