MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles, the official distributor for Foton electric vans in Nepal, is building a large-scale commercial EV service center in Pepsicola, Kathmandu. This facility aims to centralize maintenance, battery testing, and technical training for Foton commercial vehicle owners.
The center will feature modern diagnostic equipment and infrastructure. A team of technicians and engineers, trained by Foton’s international division, will manage all repairs and maintenance tasks. Foton Motor Nepal CEO Dr. Anil Kumar Baral emphasized that quality after-sales service is their priority, stating, "Selling vehicles is not our only responsibility. We want every Foton customer to have easy access to quality service, genuine parts, and professional technical support."
The new facility will provide vehicle servicing, genuine spare parts, battery testing, regular maintenance, and driver and technician training under one roof. The company plans to maintain a steady stock of genuine parts at this location to reduce vehicle downtime and improve repair efficiency. The service center is expected to open soon.
Foton currently operates 21 service points across Nepal. The company intends to expand this network further, targeting the establishment of a touchpoint within every 100 kilometers along major highways by the end of 2026. This new Pepsicola site represents a significant investment in the brand's after-sales infrastructure. It is designed to ensure that commercial operators get reliable technical support and consistent service quality for their electric fleets.
