Chery Wanda has unveiled its lineup of advanced electric commercial vans at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Kathmandu, drawing significant interest and bookings. The exhibition, held at Bhrikutimandap, showcased Chery Wanda's 11-seater, 12-seater, 14-seater, and 16-seater electric vans, targeting commercial operators, schools, colleges, and passenger transport businesses.
The 11- and 12-seater models are equipped with a 41.86 kWh CATL battery and deliver 70 kW of peak power, offering a range of up to 300 km on a single charge. Both versions have a 180 mm ground clearance, making them suitable for varied terrains.
The 14-seater van features a 53.58 kWh CATL battery, producing 80 kW of peak power, and boasts a 200 mm ground clearance. It also claims a range of 300 km per charge.

For larger capacity needs, the 16-seater electric minibus provides two battery options: 53.58 kWh and 70 kWh, with peak power outputs of 80 kW and 120 kW, respectively. This model offers a 210 mm ground clearance and a range of 280–350 km, depending on the variant.
Chery Wanda is also offering a collateral-free hire purchase facility, making it easier for Nepalese buyers to acquire these vehicles. This financial option is expected to provide significant economic relief to entrepreneurs and businesses looking to invest in commercial electric vehicles. According to Jagadamba Motors, the official distributor, the expo saw enthusiastic participation with hundreds of bookings across various models.
The company emphasizes that these vans incorporate modern technology, powerful battery capacity, and excellent ground clearance, catering specifically to the needs of schools, colleges, and commercial establishments. Notably, Montessori school operators showed particular interest in the 11- and 12-seater models, while hotel and travel agency businesses were drawn to the 16-seater variant.
As the demand for electric vehicles in Nepal grows rapidly, Chery Wanda's offerings are well-positioned to meet the market's needs. Jagadamba Motors expressed gratitude to all visitors and customers, reaffirming its commitment to providing quality and reliable electric vehicles that meet market expectations.
