The Audi A6 e-tron has set a new Guinness World Record for electric vehicle range. The car traveled 1,338 kilometers on a single charge during a test in Poland. This performance surpasses the previous record of 1,205 kilometers held by the Lucid Air Grand Touring.
Starting on September 11, the journey took approximately 45 hours. The driver navigated public roads and regular traffic, traveling from the Vistula River area to the Hel Peninsula and back. The average temperature during the drive was 15 degrees Celsius.
Key technical specifications include:
- Battery: 94.9 kWh usable capacity
- Power: 367 HP electric motor
- Acceleration: 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds
- Efficiency: 7.09 kWh per 100 kilometers
- Drag Coefficient: 0.21 Cd

Engineers achieved this efficiency through aerodynamic refinements to the body, front design, and wheel areas. This design reduces air resistance, which helps lower energy consumption even at higher speeds. The A6 e-tron stands as a highly efficient option in the current electric vehicle market.
