The Ultraviolette X47 Crossover has officially launched in Nepal, marking a significant milestone as the country's first electric adventure crossover motorcycle. A unit was spotted at Ultraviolette’s showroom in Naxal, Kathmandu, ahead of its official debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, where Vaidya’s Organization, the authorized distributor, unveiled the bike.
Vaidya’s Organization has set the starting price at Rs 6,84,900 for the Standard variant, while the top variant, Desert Wing, costs Rs 10,54,900. This pricing makes the X47 an attractive option for those looking to explore electric mobility in the adventure motorcycle segment. The Ultraviolette X47 is available in Nepal in four variants: Standard, Original+, Recon+, and Desert Wing. This differs from the Indian market, where it is sold in five variants.
The X47 combines an adventure-focused design with futuristic styling, featuring a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, a high-mounted handlebar, a single-piece seat, optional panniers, and side lights, making it suitable for touring and off-road riding. The Desert Wing Edition adds practical equipment including a luggage rack, saddle stays, and panniers.
One of the standout features of the X47 is Ultraviolette's HyperSense radar-assisted rider assistance package. This system includes blind-spot detection, rear collision warning, lane-change alerts, and overtaking assistance, making it the first in its segment to feature an integrated radar system. The radar system uses a 77GHz rear-facing radar to provide these features, with alerts displayed through the TFT console and mirror light strips.
The motorcycle also boasts switchable dual-channel ABS, four-level traction control, regenerative braking, hill-hold assist, dynamic stability control, and a dual-display setup. Built around a steel trellis frame with a cast aluminum subframe, the X47 features preload-adjustable upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels, and Brembo disc brakes.

Powering the X47 is a 30 kW electric motor that delivers 610 Nm of wheel torque. Ultraviolette claims a top speed of 145 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.7 seconds. The Recon+ and Desert Wing variants are equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 323 km on a full charge. The other variants use a 7.1 kWh battery with a claimed range of 211 km.
The motorcycle includes a 1.6 kW onboard portable charger designed for convenience, allowing users to carry only the charging cable separately, thus facilitating long-distance charging without the need for a bulky external charger.
With its blend of advanced technology, robust design, and competitive pricing, the Ultraviolette X47 Crossover is poised to make a significant impact in Nepal's burgeoning electric vehicle market.
