Tesla has introduced updates to the Model 3 in the US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. The changes focus on interior technology and powertrain performance.
All variants now feature a 16-inch central touchscreen. This replaces the previous 15.4-inch display and provides higher pixel density.
The top-spec Model 3 Performance now produces 528 horsepower. It offers an estimated range of 508 km on a full charge. Despite the power increase, the 0-97 kmph acceleration time remains 2.9 seconds. This trim also includes a black headliner.
The Model 3 Premium All-Wheel Drive is now faster. It completes the 0-60 mph sprint in 3.8 seconds, down from the previous 4.2 seconds. Its estimated range remains 557 km.
Pricing for the updated lineup is as follows:
- Rear-Wheel Drive: $38,630
- Premium All-Wheel Drive: $44,130
- Performance: $56,630

These updates come without a price increase. Tesla has not specified the technical changes behind the improved range and performance figures.
While the company recently added vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality to the Model 3 in China, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea, this feature is not available on the US-spec models. V2L allows a vehicle to power external devices up to 2.4 kW using an adapter. In the US, this capability remains limited to the Cybertruck and select Model Y variants.
These updates represent a refinement of the existing Model 3 platform rather than a complete redesign.
