This initiative aims to lower the entry barrier for potential owners. Under the current arrangement, customers can access a loan facility covering 80% of the vehicle's cost. A special discount of Rs 3.5 lakh is also being applied to the purchase price, which helps reduce the required upfront payment compared to standard financing requirements.
Where it fits
In the current Tata lineup in Nepal, the Nexon EV sits above the Tata Tiago EV (Rs 34.49 lakh – Rs 38.49 lakh) and the Tata XPRES-T EV (Rs 36.99 lakh – Rs 38.99 lakh). It is positioned below the internal combustion engine Tata Nexon (Rs 50.99 lakh – Rs 59.99 lakh) and is priced similarly to the Tata Punch (Rs 39.99 lakh – Rs 45.49 lakh).
Model lineup and pricing
The Tata Nexon EV is available in two variants in Nepal:
- CREATIVE 45: Rs 44.99 lakh
- Empowered+ 45: Rs 50.99 lakh

Key specifications
The vehicle is equipped with a 45 kWh battery pack and a 98 kW electric motor. It offers a claimed driving range of 325 km on a full charge. The SUV supports 7.2 kW AC charging and DC fast charging up to 60 kW. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, and a five-star Bharat NCAP rating.
This financing offer provides a more flexible path to ownership for those looking to switch to an electric SUV.
