Nissan has unveiled the Pixo EV, a small electric city car aimed at European buyers. It sits below the Micra in Nissan’s European EV range.
The model returns the Pixo name after the petrol-powered car was discontinued in 2013. Renault and Nissan developed the new EV together, and it shares its platform with the Renault Twingo.
Battery and charging
A 27.5 kWh LFP battery gives the Pixo a claimed WLTP range of up to 259 km. This is Nissan’s first European model to use an LFP battery.
With a 50 kW DC charger, the battery can rise from 15% to 80% in about 28 minutes. Home and workplace charging is also supported through the car’s AC charging system.
Size and equipment

The car measures 3,796 mm long, 1,790 mm wide and 1,512 mm tall. Its wheelbase is 2,492 mm.
Safety and convenience features include automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and Nissan’s e-Pedal technology. Google built-in services, including Gemini, are also available. Charging information and route planning can be accessed through the MyNissan app.
Nissan designed the car, while production will take place at Renault’s plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. European customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027. Pricing will be announced in December, with an expected starting price of around $23,000 before incentives. Nepal pricing and availability have not been confirmed.

For Nepal, the Pixo EV is an interesting compact-city model, but its local arrival remains uncertain.
