Representatives from the Nepal Automobiles Association (NADA) met with Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel on Wednesday to address difficulties in vehicle registration. The delegation was led by NADA General Secretary Milan Babu Malla.
NADA officials highlighted that the workload at Transport Management Offices has increased significantly as the Dashain and Tihar festivals approach. Limited staffing at these offices is causing delays for service seekers and company representatives, even when all necessary documentation is submitted.
Meghraj Poudel, NADA Secretary and Chairman of the Two-Wheeler Committee, noted that the association had previously discussed these issues with Transport Management Office Chief Rajan Pokharel on September 8.
Following the latest meeting, Chief District Officer Poudel committed to coordinating with the relevant Transport Management Offices to find solutions for the registration delays. Other NADA representatives present included Central Working Committee member Bimal Sah, along with Two-Wheeler Committee members Yogen Gurung and Deepak Rouniyar.
This administrative intervention aims to streamline the registration process and reduce wait times for vehicle owners during the busy festive period.
