Honda’s ADV160, Rebel 300, XR300L and XR300 Rally are attracting early dealer-level interest in India, but there is no official booking announcement yet from Honda. That keeps the development in rumour territory for now.
For Nepali buyers, the most relevant point is that India’s premium Honda lineup often influences what eventually reaches Nepal through BigWing import channels and how those models are priced. If these motorcycles do come closer to Nepal, the ADV160’s 156.9cc engine, the Rebel 300’s 286cc single-cylinder setup and the XR300 twins’ 293.5cc platform would place them in the premium small-displacement segment.
In a significant development, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Rebel 300 cruiser and ADV160 adventure scooter in India. The Honda Rebel 300 is priced at 222,000 INR for the standard version, while the E-Clutch version costs 262,000 INR. The Honda ADV160 is priced at 170,000 INR. Deliveries of both models are scheduled to begin from mid-October 2026 in India.
The Rebel 300 is Honda's new entry-level cruiser for India, featuring a low-slung, bobber-inspired design with blacked-out styling and relaxed ergonomics. It is powered by a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 29.5bhp and 27.5Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The E-Clutch version allows riders to shift gears without manually operating the clutch. The Rebel 300 also includes an LED projector headlamp, a TFT instrument cluster, Honda RoadSync connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The ADV160 is an adventure-style maxi-scooter powered by a 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine. It is Honda's first flex-fuel scooter in India, capable of running on fuel blends of up to E85. The scooter features a 27-liter under-seat storage compartment, a TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also comes equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), disc brakes at both ends, and single-channel ABS.
Honda has also indicated India production for the ADV160, which could support more competitive pricing than fully imported rivals. For Nepal, however, no official Nepal launch, booking, price or delivery timeline has been confirmed yet.
