Cimex Inc., BYD’s authorised distributor in Nepal, plans to increase the brand’s service network to 17 workshops by the end of 2026.
BYD currently has 14 service centers across six provinces. The network includes Biratnagar, Itahari, Birtamode, Janakpur, Birgunj, Hetauda, Narayanghat, Pokhara, Butwal, Nepalgunj, Dang and Dhangadhi. Kathmandu Valley facilities are in Gaurighat and Kupondole.

A new five-bay workshop in Bhaktapur is planned before Dashain. Cimex also plans a quick-service facility in Lahan and a 3S outlet in Surkhet.
The distributor has selected land for a workshop in Balkhu, Kathmandu. Its building plan is awaiting final approval, after which operations could begin within three to four months. Cimex is also searching for land in the Kalanki-Balaju area for another large workshop.

Cimex began its focused after-sales expansion in 2022. It is also working to improve spare-parts supply, technical support and emergency assistance for BYD owners. The planned additions should make authorised service access easier for buyers outside Kathmandu.
