BYD has introduced a cat bed modeled after its Flash Charging station network. The product features a T-shaped design in cyan and black, complete with a charging logo and two soft balls that mimic charging cables.
Made from polyester and artificial rabbit fur, the bed is designed for pets weighing up to 7.5 kilograms. The company jokingly claims the design helps cats fall into a deep sleep quickly.
Pre-sales for the bed started in late September through the Fang Cheng Bao app store at a price of 88 yuan (approximately 13 USD). The item sold out almost immediately following its release. Due to the high demand, some dealers have begun offering the bed as a gift to customers who buy a new vehicle.
This accessory is currently available only in the Chinese market. There has been no announcement regarding its availability in other regions.
