Cimex Inc., the official distributor for BYD in Nepal, has opened a new service center in Bhaktapur. The facility covers over 25,072.60 square feet and operates as a 3S center, providing sales, service, and spare parts under one roof. The Bhaktapur site features eight service bays, with five currently operational and three reserved for future demand. The design incorporates local architectural elements, aligning with the company's 'BYD Heritage Showroom and Service Center' concept.
On the same day, the company held a groundbreaking ceremony for another service center in Dallu, Kathmandu. This project aims to increase service capacity within the capital. A showroom is expected to open at the Bhaktapur premises soon, further enhancing customer experience by providing vehicle sales and maintenance services at a single location.
Senior BYD officials, including Zhang Jie and Feng Erdong, attended the inauguration in Bhaktapur alongside Cimex Inc. leadership. These additions are part of the distributor's strategy to strengthen its after-sales infrastructure across the country. The expansion comes as electric vehicle adoption continues to grow in Nepal, increasing the need for authorized service facilities, trained technicians, genuine spare parts, and reliable maintenance support.
Cimex has identified after-sales service as a key area of investment as BYD expands its presence in the Nepali market. The company says the new facilities reflect its service philosophy of "Superior and Sincere Service". The company plans to continue expanding its network to ensure reliable maintenance support for its growing customer base.
