G.O. Automobiles, the official distributor for MG in Nepal, has opened pre-bookings for the MG Hector Tomahawk EV. This seven-seater electric SUV is expected to arrive in the Nepali market soon. While official pricing is not yet finalized, the vehicle is anticipated to be priced below Rs 65 lakh.
The SUV is built on the ADAPT platform and features a 69.2 kWh battery pack. It uses a 150 kW electric motor that generates 310 Nm of torque. The vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. MG claims a range of 517 km on a single charge. It supports 90 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in about 35 minutes.
Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS technology. The cabin offers a 15.6-inch touchscreen, wireless connectivity, and specialized modes like Nap and Camp. The Hector Tomahawk EV is a significant addition to the brand's local lineup.
