Honda has launched the CB500 in India, with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 2.75 lakh. Nepal pricing and availability have not been confirmed.
The motorcycle uses a 501cc air- and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 28 hp and 43.3 Nm of torque. It is Honda’s largest air-cooled single-cylinder motorcycle in the Indian market. Previously, the CB500 was available with a 350cc engine, marking a significant upgrade.
First unveiled in July 2026, the CB500 is available in three variants and four attractive colors. The variants include:

- Alloy: Rs 2.75 lakh
- Spoke: Rs 3 lakh, with cross-spoke tubeless rims
- Spoke with Stripe: Rs 3.02 lakh, with exclusive colours and graphics
Every version gets Honda Selectable Torque Control, a slipper clutch, an analogue-digital instrument console, and Honda RoadSync connectivity. The motorcycle also features an all-LED lighting setup and dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Honda builds the CB500 locally in India. The motorcycle fills the space left after Royal Enfield ended its 500cc UCE range in 2020. It sits below the Royal Enfield 650 twins, which start at Rs 3.39 lakh ex-showroom in Chennai.

For Nepali buyers, the CB500 is an interesting middleweight option, but its entry into Nepal remains unconfirmed.
